With a unique flair and remarkable ability to connect, they harness the power of social media to amplify their voice, inspire action, and foster a spirit of love and unity. Together, they transform their platforms into beacons of hope, encouraging others to live out their faith, body, and authenticity. They also encourage others to join.

Welcome Letter from our Pickleball for Jesus President
Coach Mark Nolan
Welcome to the PFJ Go Team,
Sharing Christ Jesus with the world is our mission at PFJ and we welcome you to the team. As an PFJ Ambassador, you are a vital part of taking the ministry to your courts and area. Our mission is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ while utilizing relationships and the sport of Pickleball. We are excited that you have chosen to join us in spreading the love of Christ through pickleball and community outreach. Pickleball for Jesus has four core values that underpin the work of our ministry. They are:
The Great Commission
We are committed to obeying Jesus’ expectation that we reach others as well as help them to understand the Good News (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15),
The Word of God
We recognize the significance of the Bible and strive to understand God better by learning and applying the scriptures to our lives (Matthew 4:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Colossians 3:16).
Faith
We endeavor to Seek God privately and approvingly (Hebrews 11:6; Proverbs 3:5,6; Jeremiah 29:11-13).
Sportsmanship
Our integrity, conduct and relationships demonstrate behaviors committed to Jesus Christ (Titus 2:7-8; Ephesians 4:1-7, 31-32).
The goals of our PFJ Ministry are: 1. To create a Christ-centered community through pickleball. 2. Participate in community relationship building through weekly fellowship games and volunteer opportunities. 3. Spreading awareness of the PFJ ministry by partnering churches and local organizations to open up your community to more believers. The goals are always expanding and we are continuously looking for believers with a heart of service.
We desire for you to get started as an Ambassador the best way possible. In that order, please review the initial steps below and then take the time to read the entire Pickleball for Jesus Ambassador’s Guide to acquaint yourself with the work and ministry. Here are the initial six steps:
Step one pray and be in God’s word in addition to attending your church on Sundays. It is important to model and practice what we are about as well as having God’s approval and blessing.
Step two pray and ask the Lord for a small group of like-minded people that will plan and work alongside of you as a steering committee.
Step three if possible financially, get a small inventory of PFJ shirts. We have found that the more you wear your shirt, others will be approaching you wanting to purchase one, also. It helps to accommodate people with shirts as quickly as possible. All new locations for the first six months start with a standard black or navy blue base color T-shirt.
Step four play and plan together. Select a local court location for you and your group to play at, wearing your shirts, then meet afterwards for devotion, prayer, and planning.
Step five start planning some kind of future function in order to give your steering team a goal and purpose. For example, starting a go team is a pretty simple thing to implement. A Go Team is when a group goes to a designated court wearing the PfJ shirts in order to relationship build, evangelize, and enlist new members. The go team coordinator, not necessarily yourself, will post on WhatsApp where you all are going to play and when to encourage everyone to be there wearing their shirts at the same time. Please remember to take a picture or two and send to us as a way for us to pray over you.
Step six get your committee members, friends, or teammates involved. There are a lot of things you can look at doing under the activity area in your handbook that has some examples or even make up something yourselves.
I want to express my sincere appreciation for your willingness to use Pickleball for Jesus as a tool to reach your community for Christ. We, the Board Members and other PfJ volunteers will be praying for you and I want you to know that I am available to talk to you and pray with you anytime. My email is: Gocoachnolan@gmail.com. Please drop me leave a message and if I am away playing pickleball and I will get back to you within twenty-four hours if not sooner. Blessings to you and your local leadership team.
Sincerely,
Coach Mark Nolan
